DōTERRA’s Cypress

It’s that time of month again! DoTERRA has released a collection of promotions for you and your friends to enjoy! For the month of May, DoTERRA offers a 15-mL bottle of Cypress in exchange for a 125 PV order. But there’s a catch! This sweet deal is only available until May 15th. Doesn’t convince you? Well, let’s discuss the many benefits of Cypress.

Cypress is a derivative of the tall evergreen tree, and the botanical name comes from the Greek word that means “ever living”. Ironically, it is also believed to be a symbol of death and many speculate that the cross upon which Jesus was crucified was made out of Cypress. Though despite its gruesome representation, Cypress has been used to ground emotions, fight infections, aid the respiratory system, and help remove toxins from the body. One of its more renowned uses is to stimulate healthy circulation throughout the body.

What makes Cypress therapeutic is its unique chemical compounds. A 2004 study found that camphene, a component present in Cypress inhibited the growth of nine bacteria and all yeasts studied. Cosmosiin, caffeic acid, and p-coumaric acid are also present in Cypress and have demonstrated powerful antioxidant properties.

You can use Cypress by applying 1-2 drops to chest, feet, or desired areas for an energizing boost, to promote vitality, to improve the appearance of oily skin, soothe muscle pain, and relieve negative emotions. You could also use 3-4 drops in the diffuser for an invigorating scent or to mitigate anxious feelings.

Do not use on eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Keep out of reach of children. Also, if pregnant or nursing, consult with your physician.

Have you been convinced? Place a 125 PV order before the 15th and get Cypress for free! We’d love to hear your testimonies!
